Guardian Angel is an homage to the antagonistic beings from the British sci-fi series Doctor Who, the Weeping Angels. The Weeping Angels are extraterrestrial creatures with quantum origins and are as old as the universe. They are often depicted as cherubic statues covering their faces as if they are weeping. If Weeping Angels stare at each other, they permanently turn into statues and die due to starvation. Their only self-defense from permanent petrification is by covering their faces. They also become tangible if observed by a naked eye, a phenomenon known as quantum-locking.  Weeping Angels are biologically petrified and they must gather sustenance by preying humans. Victims are sent back in time while Weeping Angels absorb their remaining life energy. They also murder their prey if they are not satisfied with their life energy. Another terrifying fact about Weeping Angels is that they can also convert ordinary statues and even humans into Weeping Angels too.
